It is about 4km long sandy beach. There is plenty of paid parking available, although it can be busy at times and you may need to wait a little to find a spot to park. The beach is suitable for families with children, as the water is warm (warmer than in Marina di Pisa) and clean and the depth is good, not deep close to the shore.
